The Greater Astoria Historical Society's gallery space is available to rent for standard events. All rental fees help to support the Society's collections, services, and programs. Please see details below:
Area available: 750 square feet (37.5x20)
Capacity: up to 75 guests
Cost: $200 per time block Meetings are booked for the following blocks of time: 9am-12pm; 1-4 pm; 5-8 pm
Standard events include business meetings, seminars, conferences, fundraisers, media events, press conferences, film shoots. Non-profits receive a 50% discount on all rental fees.
Audio Visual: We have audio visual systems that can support basic technical functions such as PowerPoint and DVDs.
Rates for available equipment/services:
- LCD Projector & Screen - $75
- Laptop Computer - $50
- TV & VCR/DVD or TV & Computer Unit - $50
- AV Technician Support - $75/hour
GAHS tables and chairs are available.
Please take special note that:
ALL reservations require at least one day's notice; bookings will not be confirmed on the same day that you want to use the room.
You must cancel a reserved space at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time or risk reinstatement of the rental fee for your group (an exception being adverse weather).
GAHS may not be identified as a co-sponsor of a meeting without prior approval of the President or Executive Director.

If the date you have selected is available, you may place it on hold for 3 days. After that period, we ask that you request a contract to confirm your event or the space will be released to make it available for other interested guests. Once a contract has been drafted you will need to sign the document and pay 50% of your rental fee in order to secure your rental date and space.
