Help GAHS and the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) Bridges & Tunnels celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge.

Meet at the Rockaway Park/Beach 116th Street subway station, at ground level. The “A” or the “S” (Shuttle) train will get you there.

You can take the “A” train to Broad Channel and get the “S” train to Rockaway Park (It runs at all times). Have your MetroCard ready as we take the Q35 bus to the Rockaway Artists Alliance, just a few blocks from the bridge, where we will make a brief stop.

Once across, we can get another Q35 bus to Brooklyn College where the #2 and the #5 NYC subway trains are available. There are no bathrooms for at least ¼ of a mile once on the bridge.

Wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

Fee: GAHS members $15, $20 non-members
