Meet at St. Mark‘s Church, 2nd Avenue and East 10th Street, 6:30PM, Tuesday, July 17
The spirit of Peter Stuyvesant, the last director general of New Netherland, permeates the East Village around 2nd Avenue in the streets south of East 14th.
In this evening tour we will explore St. Mark‘s Church and churchyard, Stuyvesant Street, Stuyvesant Square and other landmarks in the area such as Stuyvesant Polyclinic and the original site of the 2nd Avenue Deli.
Time: approx 2 hours. Rain or shine.
